New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Eden Brent, winner of the 2010 Blues Music Award as Pinetop Perkins Piano Player of the Year, will bring the whiskey-smoke voice and piano chops heard on her eclectic upcoming album 'Ain't Got No Troubles' (out September 7 from Yellow Dog Records) to New York's Rockwood Music Hall August 19th. Brent, a native of Greenville, Mississippi, was a longtime protege'e of blues pioneer Abie "Boogaloo" Ames. On 'Ain't Got No Troubles,' she plays and sings an earthy meld of blues, pop, soul and jazz in a range from a melancholic whisper to a full-blown juke joint holler.
