New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Peace Belt Productions) - C Lanzbom, of the renowned New York based Israeli Jam Band Soulfarm, is set to release his seventh solo album By the Wake of the Moon July 22, 2010. This album is dedicated to Lanzbom's family members who lived in the German occupied forests throughout the Second World War. They are the inspiration for this engaging and memorizing instrumental album. By the Wake of the Moon was created to never forget those that perished and survived the holocaust. Within this new masterpiece, Lanzbom explores his classical, acoustic, improvisational, and world beat leanings. The album taps into his deeper spiritual side that rises from Soulfarn's Middle Eastern grooves, transcending the band's exotic country rock, transporting listeners to places rarely visited through the band's music. Over the course of his career, C Lanzbom has sold a total of over 100,000 copies of his albums, has written with numerous talented musicians such as Perry Farrell of Janes Addiction, and his songs have been featured on numerous television shows. He has also shared the stage with such acts as Dispatch, Hornsby, Roger McGuinn, and Phoebe Snow and played at the 2007 Elton John tribute at Carnegie Hall with his band Fools For April. Lanzbom's recording and productions have also included the legendary Pete Seeger, whom he has recently collaborated with once again, mixing and recording Seger's first studio album since his 2008 Grammy. Seger's new album, Tomorrow's Children, was mixed and recoded by C Lanzbom at his state of the art Sherwood Ridge Studio in Pomona NY. Lanzbom also co-wrote "I see Freedom" with percussionist Jeff Haynes for Tomorrow's Children. Despite his allegiance to his band Soulfarm, Lanzbom has always nurtured a solo career that allows him to broaden the magically warm experience he has always gotten from playing guitar which has left fans eagerly awaiting this new release, and the wait has not been in vain. By the Wake of the Moon continues Lanzbom's tradition of drawing from Americana-style acoustic folk to Renaissance to new age jazz, taking listeners on a timeless cultural journey through his delicately intricate guitar excursions reminding them to shine By the Wake of the Moon.
