Elvis Costello Kicks Off Spellbinding Spring Tour With New Material And Rave Reviews

New York, NY (TOP40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) -- Elvis Costello launched his spring tour on April 7th performing several never-before-heard songs during a string of solo acoustic dates on the West Coast. The reviews have been adulatory.

San Diego Union Tribune called his show "an altogether stunning evening...there were so many remarkable musical moments during Elvis Costello's superb solo concert that it's difficult to rate one above another."

The paper also said that the new material he debuted was "uniformly impressive," a sentiment shared by The Arizona Republic, which called his new songs "impassioned" and "breathtaking." Phoenix New Times agreed, saying the new tunes were "intriguing" and summing up the night as "spellbinding."
