Country-Rocker Billy Eli Brings His Dust Up To The North East

He�ll be in Philadelphia the following night at John and Peter�s.

Houston native Eli, who�s played NYC several times before, says �I love New York City � five hours at a time, five times a year.� And the last time he was in Philadelphia he made a point to stand in the Delaware River in his yellow snakeskin cowboy boots � a rite of passage his boots take whenever he gets near a new body of water. Why, you ask? �It�s just the right thing to do,� he says.

Eli, along with his frequent songwriting partner Kenneth �Mudbone� Welch are gourmet songwriters: those fortunate human beings who can make meaningful those connections between raw experience and artistic expression, an enviable feat to the rest of us.
