New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - This Friday, "stark, eloquent" (NY Times) songwriter, Nathaniel Rateliff will hit the road with the Low Anthem for a string of mid-west dates. Following those dates, on April 11 Rateliff will perform on NPR's E-Town with the Indigo Girls and later in the month, Rateliff will join Delta Spirit and Ra Ra Riot on Daytrotter's Barnstorming tour, performing free shows in barns in small towns throughout Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois. In May, Rateliff will make his way across the country playing shows with the Tallest Man On Earth. He will kick off his first ever north-east headlining tour in June.

On tour, Rateliff will perform songs from his stunning and heartbreaking debut album In Memory Of Loss (Rounder Records, April 27) backed by his 5-piece band. Rateliff recently performed at SXSW where Vanity Fair described one of his sets as "rip-roaring" and said the music "blew them away."

Hear some songs from the album and listen to Nathaniel share the stories that inspired the music here:
