Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ P.L.A. Media) - Singer/songwriter and musician, Mike Schikora, is pleased to announce he has signed an agreement with the Chip Austin Agency. After just releasing his sophomore album last month entitled, This cowboy's In love, Schikora is looking to get in front of new audiences. 'I am very excited to be working with Chip and his team,' says Schikora. 'Within the first few weeks after signing with the agency, I already had a booking!' The Chip Austin Agency, who has been 'booking great independent artists in all music genres,' also includes legendary country crooner Razzy Bailey. 'Our agency couldn't pass up the opportunity to sign Mike Schikora,' states owner and founder Chip Austin. 'Mike's voice and music easily separates itself from the other rising artists that are cutting their teeth in the industry.' Schikora's latest album is a foot stomping, western swing music mixed with jazz and blues. He is the real deal - a dying breed of ranchers/cowboys and a rustic Rocky Mountain horseman. Mike rode his horse twice over the Continental Divide, started a Half Arabian Sport horse breeding business and continues to write songs for his publishing company, Tuck And Go Music. Mike stays humble and true to his country roots with musical influences including Chet Atkins, Floyd Cramer, Boots Randolph, Billie Holiday and The Judds.
