New York (Top40 Charts/ Universal Motown) - Spiking the indie rock scene as music's most compelling new trio in years, the infectiously ferocious Crash Kings have landed a supporting spot on 2010's most coveted rock tour. Custard/Universal Motown's unique threesome will be heading out with Australian rockers Jet in a breathless run of North America that promises to deliver live shards of might and heat.

The 14 city trek will kick off in Toronto, ON on March 5th, rearing into multiple U.S. cities such as Boston, MA on March 9th, Seattle, WA on March 23rd, Las Vegas, NV on March 27th, before pulling into Kenosha, WI on April 2nd for a final shredding between two bands' who represent pound-for-pound the most potent, unkempt-sounding arsenals in rock. The fact that the Crash Kings render their signature hooks armed only with drums, bass and clavinet/keyboard makes their self-titled debut album and searing live show all the more awesome.
For the Los Angeles-based band, last year's comparisons to stripped-down icons such as the White Stripes have evolved into further coronations by critics, citing the Crash Kings as the new indie gold standard when it comes to sprawling riffs and innovatively sticky groove-mandering. Their 'leave the guitars/bring the chrome' blasts of pummeling, melodic rock n' roll sent their first single, the super-sized gem 'Mountain Man,' into the mid-teens of Billboard's Alternative Singles Chart. The band's self-titled debut album, featuring songs such as '1985,' 'Come Away,' and 'You Got Me,' has also received stacks of praise - 'They've put their own unique spin on the three-man band concept...' Glidemagazine.com.

Lauded at last year's South By Southwest Music Conference in Austin, TX, the group will be playing one of the most anticipated shows at this year's annual fest on March 18th at Rusty Spurs. Forged by the brother-duo of vocal/keyboardist Tony and bassist Michael Beliveau, and drummer Jason Morris, the Crash Kings' enlivened perspective on rock sonics has delivered them a global digital audience, with the group's torked-up clav /in lieu of guitar/ also making them a rousing video fave. The band's impressive interpretations of some of the classic songs included on Rolling Stone Magazine's 100 Greatest Guitar Songs has also garnered them cult status on youtube and other video-sharing outlets.
