Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Scripps Networks) - Throughout February, Great American Country spotlights Josh Turner as 'GAC's Artist of the Month' and celebrates the release of his fourth studio album, Haywire, on its website GACTV.com. (https://www.gactv.com/gac/ar_az_josh_turner). Turner fans can watch the critically acclaimed artist as he answer questions about his professional and personal life in a collection of Web-exclusive video segments. Fans also have the chance to view an extensive photo gallery, read Turner's personal bio, purchase digital downloads, answer questions in the Josh Turner trivia challenge and vote for his new video 'Why Don't We Just Dance' on GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown.

Turner is one of the most identifiable male vocalists in country music today and has sold more than four million albums and garnered two multi-week No. 1 hits ('Your Man' and 'Would You Go With Me'). His debut album was certified platinum, and his sophomore album, Your Man, was one of only four country albums to reach double-platinum status in 2006. Six years after his Grand Ole Opry debut, he was inducted into the prestigious organization, becoming one of the youngest artists to receive such an honor.

Today Turner releases his fourth studio album, Haywire. After recording the album's lead single, 'Why Don't We Just Dance,' Turner was so inspired to put the rest of the album together that he picked up the pen and wrote or co-wrote five of the album's 11 songs: 'Haywire,' 'As Fast As I Could,' 'Eye Candy,' 'Friday Paycheck' and 'The Answer.'

'This record has been the quickest record we've ever made from start to finish,' said Turner of Haywire, a collection of mostly love songs. 'But I'm glad our haste didn't make waste. I love every single song.'

'I don't feel like you can have too many love songs,' he added. 'The world is always looking for the next great love song. It's like what Eddy Arnold told me a long time ago. 'If you have the opportunity to record a great love song, do it.' I've really taken his advice to heart. If you look at my two number-one songs, those are big-time, positive, straight-forward love songs.'
