New York (Top40 Charts/ Late Rooms Official Website) - With all the rushing around that comes with Christmas, many music lovers may have been denied the opportunity to go to the theatre and enjoy a festive show. If this is the case, they could be itching to put on their gladrags and sit back to take in some orchestral performances. One way to do this in style could be to book hotels in Paris (https://www.laterooms.com/en/k12835253_paris-hotels.aspx) and treat themselves to a five-day musical extravaganza in what is considered to be one of the most romantic cities in the world.

From January 25th until the 29th, Valery Gergiev and his Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra will be filling the Salle Pleyel with the impressive sounds of Peter Ilich Tchaikovsky's six symphonies.

These will be broken down into three concerts over the five days, with two symphonies performed at each, What's on When reports.

The First (Winter Daydreams) will be performed with fateful Fourth on January 25th. This will be followed by Second (Little Russian) and Fifth on January 26th and Third (Polish) and valedictory Sixth - Pathetique on January 29th.

While some people may pick and choose which they attend, others may see this as an opportunity to experience them all.

Tickets cost between 10 (8.99) and 85.

Tchaikovsky is perhaps one of the most famous composers in the world. He was born in Russian in 1840 and died in 1893.

If you're heading to Tchaikovsky's six symphonies this year, we strongly advise that you book your hotels Paris (https://www.laterooms.com/fr/k12835253_hotel-paris.aspx) as soon as possible, given the huge popularity of the event.
