New York (Top40 Charts/ Roadrunner Records) - Killswitch bassist Mike D'Antonio will join Minor Threat's Lyle Preslar to honor and jam with punk legend Eerie Von for a special one-night-only performance in New York this January. The event celebrates the release of Eerie Von's upcoming photography book, 'Misery Obscura: The Photography of Eerie Von (1981 - 2009),' which follows the former Misfits roadie/ photographer and bassist of Danzig and Samhain on his musical journey from Lodi, New Jersey in the early 80s to the heights of Danzig's career in the mid-90s and beyond. Mike D. comments on the honor, exclaiming, 'Not only am I extremely excited to be a part of the Eerie Von Photography book "Misery Obscura", now there is a January NYC in-store signing and acoustic set! It is a massive honor for me to be asked to sign and play alongside music legends Eerie Von and Lyle Preslar. I can hardly contain myself. Please come down to Generation Records in NYC at 7PM on January 8th for a once in a lifetime experience.' During the event, Eerie Von will also sign copies of his book with Misfits 'coffin box' designer Tom Bejgrowicz. Please note that only copies of "Misery Obscura" will be signed during this event. No outside material may be brought into the store. The book is out December 30th through Dark Horse.
