Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/
Robin Aigne Official Website) - If I handed you an album and described it as "Decemberists meet
Tom Waits meet
Beirut meet Leonard Cohen"...you'd be impressed, yes? Well I would be. These are the words chosen to describe Brooklyn Singer/songwriter / Multi-instrumentalist,
Robin Aigner's latest release, 'Bandito.' Incidentally, that description is not a journalistic throw away comment either as the album lives up to it in every sense. The album features excellent musicianship by violinist Caroline Shaw, percussionist Dean Sharenow (Kill Henry Sugar, Joan Baez), pianist Joshua Camp (Three Ring Zero) and bassist Tom Mayer.

Bandito features 9 original tunes, from jaunty historical fiction to John Prine-style duets. It's dark and seductive, playful and witty.
Robin just recently toured with Annie Crane, where were the featured emerging artists at the inaugural show of Music City Roots' Loveless Barn, hosted in Nashville by famed radio station WSM.
Robin is a member of old-world orchestrette Pinataland, a former touring member of the Crooked Jades, founder of Royal Pine and collaborates frequently with other artists (David Wechsler, Jill Andrews of The Everybodyfields, etc).
Robin officially releases 'Bandito' on Thursday, January 28, 8pm, at New York's hallowed The Living Room. The amazing yodeling banjo legend Curtis Eller will open the evening.
