Nashville, TE (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Legendary songwriter Chip Taylor wistfully recalls beloved trips to the train tracks as a young boy with his father and two brothers in his new video for "Charcoal Sky," a standout from his new album 'Yonkers, NY.' The gorgeously shot black and white video, which debuted on CMT.com, finds Taylor walking desolate train tracks as he sings of flattening nickels on the tracks. Check out the "Charcoal Sky" music video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9Gqbx3gy14 "Dad used to take us to Nepperhan station where we'd put our nickels on the track - and smile at our flattened treasure after the train passed by," says Taylor in the liner notes. "Dad liked to talk to the conductors - always included us in the conversation." 'Yonkers, NY' is a heartfelt and endearing window into the life of a young man learning about music, horses, girls, - and family. Raised by a father that worked as a golf pro (although he managed to convince his youngest son for years that he was also an FBI agent) along with his two brothers, actor Jon Voight and renowned scientist Dr. Barry Voight, on the album Taylor assumes the character of young Jamie - as Taylor was known back then - and the trials, tribulations, and triumphs of a young man finding his way, occasionally beset by fate, and some particularly wily siblings.
