New York (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Miami, Florida band to watch Awesome New Republic announce their full CMJ
Music Marathon show schedule as part of their 20+ date tour in support of 'Hearts,' their sophomore album out October 27 on Honor Roll Music. Stereogum called their laptop-laced mix of guitar rock and disco "a bona fide dancefloor jam." While they are used to dominating rock clubs coast-to-coast with their Gang of Four-like ferocity, these four shows will provide New Yorkers and visiting college students a chance to see them at their very best.
Awesome New Republic is the duo of John Hancock and Brian Robertson, and when joined by drummer Jorge Rubiera, they turn into a mesmerizing maelstrom of high adrenaline electro-rock laced with infinitely melodic synth pop.
