Nashville, TE (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Loudon Wainwright III's 'High Wide & Handsome: The Charlie Poole Project' (2nd Story Sound Records) continues to earn glowing reviews but that's not the only thing keeping him busy for the fall. He has numerous tour dates, a discussion for the New Yorker Festival, and an appearance on the hit comedy Parks & Recreation (NBC) coming up.

At the New Yorker Festival, Wainwright will talk music with editor Susan Morrison at Brooklyn's Bell House at 7:30pm on October 17. More information can be found here: https://www.newyorker.com/festival

Wainwright has also taped an episode of Parks & Recreation (NBC), starring Amy Poehler. His recurring character named Barry, the nutty town paranoid, returns to the show next week, October 15. In addition to this role, Wainwright's acting credits include Judd Apatow films Knocked Up and The 40-Year Old Virgin, plus roles on Elizabethtown, Undeclared, and M*A*S*H, among others.

Paste Magazine Online calls Loudon's new album "fascinating" and "a gem" while The Nation Online tabbed it "wonderful... a mixture of
whimsy, intelligence and sardonic humor." He was also the subject of a New Yorker Talk of the Town piece:
