NASHVILLE, TN. (Top40 Charts/ K&B Entertainment) - AC / Americana singer / songwriter Tia McGraff has been attracting a lot of attention across
America with her song "Angry Eagle," and the companion video, which at one point features the eagle with a tear in its eye. Tia's previous videos include; "Small Town Life," "Way Up Here," "Sunflowers," and "Every-time I See You," all of which have been featured on Canada's Country
Music Television.
"Angry Eagle," at first blush might sound like a song of rebellion, protest or frustration however, while it contains all of those elements, the carefully crafted tune, showcases the sensitive and emotive side of Tia McGraff's vocals and transitions into a story about compassion. "Angry Eagle," is a song of hope, in the midst of heartbreak as all across North America individuals lose their jobs, families lose their homes, and worry about providing for their children. The sensitive missive is beautifully phrased, as Tia says to those that are hurting, 'we will be okay, because we have each other and we are going to see this through together.'
Veteran songwriter and recording artist Dan Hill, who has three times enjoyed songs ranked in the top three on the American charts and twice had # 1 hits in Canada, comments on Tia McGraff's hot new song, "Angry Eagle," It captures the times that we're living in perfectly! It is so wrenchingly topical that it's impossible not to relate to every word."
Making the song "Angry Eagle," available to radio stations for download or streaming through https://www.airplaydirect.com/TiaMcGraff is particularly poignant, as it seems to share the same stream of consciousness as the new feature film Capitalism A Love Story.
"Angry Eagle," was arranged by Nashville's Scott Brasher and produced by Tommy Parham, who also co-wrote one of the songs on the sound track for the movie Come Early Morning, starring Ashley Judd. As songwriters, McGraff and Parham have collaborated with musical heavyweights; Randy Bachman, Kim Tribble (Brooks & Dunn, Martina McBride)
Jeffrey Steele (Rascal Flats, Faith Hill) and Andrew Gold (Linda Ronstadt).
Tia McGraff continues the legacy of premier Canadian female singer-songwriters who have been warmly embraced by the American public, as she tours regularly throughout America, and her August 20th concert in Amarillo, Texas was broadcast on National Public Radio.
John Black the Music Director for High Plains Public Radio in Amarillo calls "Angry Eagle," "one of those nice, rare moments when everything seems to come together and really says what is on the minds of millions. It is like she has tapped into the public consciousness..I'll be dropping "Angry Eagle," into the show beginning tomorrow morning!"
The CBS's Nightly News with Catie Couric, featured Tia live from Nashville's Bluebird Cafe', just one of the gifted singer - songwriter's many stops, as she spends almost one third of the year touring the United States, the U.K. and Canada.
