New York (Top40 Charts/ DC Hardcore) - A Smile From The Trenches will be in Las Vegas for CD release party on October 29 at THE FARM. Door open at 6pm and the band performers 9pm. Additionally, as of recent, the band has inked a deal with up and coming record label DC Hardcore (home of punk legend H.R. of Bad Brains) and is currently in the midst of a tour. They hit the road in support of their debut EP, 'Leave The Gambling For Vegas,' which will be re-released with three new tracks on October 27, 2009. With notable tracks such as 'Start Worryin' Star Warrian,' 'Dani,' 'Juicy Fruit,' and a cover of the Katy Perry hit 'Hot N Cold,' the album sustained its hard-earned buzz.

"We are excited to start what we have been dreaming about doing. This is just the beginning" - Stoney Anderson

Comparable to My Chemical Romance and The Used, A Smile From The Trenches' sound carries a unique punk-rock vibe with hints of unconventional pop, combining killer melodies and gut-wrenching lyrics. Referred to as the new 'Bad Boys of Pop,' A Smile From The Trenches is an experience not to be missed. Catch them at their CD release show and note that the remainder of their 2009 tour dates are in the area noted below.

ABOUT THE BAND:

Originally formed in Colorado in 2006, today's A Smile From The Trenches hails from Los Angeles, California with plans to reshape a genre that has been dormant since the days of The Used and My Chemical Romance. With collective experiences taking home first place at Colorado's Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands, Ozzfest, Warped Tour and playing with Escape The Fate, Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa, LoveHateHero, A Skylite Drive, Aiden, Story of the Year, Devil Wears Prada, Bullets and Octane, A Static Lullaby and many others, the self-proclaimed 'hardest working rock band in the US' continues to drive through their 2009 tour bringing in hundreds of people to their shows. They independently recorded and released their debut EP 'Leave The Gambling For Vegas' on March 17, 2009, which has immediately generated buzz off of the three focus tracks 'Start Worryin' Star Warrian', 'Dani' and a cover of Katy Perry's hit 'Hot N Cold.'

With the success off of their debut EP, the band signed a deal with the label DC Hardcore for a re-release of this album with the addition of three new bonus tracks including, 'Juicy Fruit.' This mini album will be released both physically and digitally on October 27, 2009. The band will head back into the studio in 2010 to start work on a full-length album.
