Neko Case's Cool And Unusual Fall

New York (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Neko Case will be turning up in some seriously cool - and unexpected - places this fall.

Last week she was in NYC to tape a performance for the next season of the Sundance Channel's Spectacle: Elvis Costello With...and a duet with Meatwad from the popular Cartoon Network show Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

Next month, Neko pays her first visit to A Prairie Home Companion on October 10, and returns to NYC for a conversation with the New Yorker's pop music critic Sasha Frere-Jones as part of The New Yorker Festival on October 17.

On November 16, Neko plays her biggest headlining NYC show to date at the Beacon Theater (see below for complete tour dates), followed in December by a stint in the Guest Programmer's chair on the Turner Classic Movies channel.

Case's new album 'Middle Cyclone' (Anti-) remains the highest debuting independent release of 2009, bowing at No 3 on the Billboard Top 200 chart in March. It paved the way for other noteworthy placements in the New York Times Magazine, New Yorker, Time and Newsweek, and appearances on Leno, Letterman, Conan, Tavis Smiley, and NPR's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me.
