New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Todd Snider continues to tour bringing "the finest album of his career" (Associated Press, 6.8.09) 'The Excitement Plan' to Austin City Limits Music Festival Oct 2nd and Hardly Strictly Bluegrass on Oct 4th, plus a 14 date co-headlining tour with Robert Earl Keen and Bruce Robison.

A special part of the tour is when Snider brings Keen, one of his songwriting heroes, onstage for a duet of "Corpus Christi Bay," a song he lovingly covers on 'The Excitement Plan.' Snider says, "Robert Earl wrote this one but I feel close to it because if you substitute the music biz for the oil rig and the road for Corpus Christi you got the story of my brother and I."

On October 8th, Snider will perform an intimate set at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles. Museum Executive Director Robert Santelli will host a Q&A following the show. Tickets go on sale on 9/16 and can be purchased in-person at the Museum Box Office, through Ticketmaster.com, or by calling 1.800.745.3000.

Snider continues to gain new fans with Phish's Trey Anastasio singing his praise in this TONY story and USA Today claiming, "it's time for the man Rolling Stone calls 'quite possibly America's sharpest musical storyteller' to reap [GRAMMY] glory." If you can't catch him on tour, hopefully you've snatched up his now sold out bobble head doll to keep you company.
