** Very Emergency appearing with Peter Frampton

Very Emergency was offered these prime dates after the band recorded 'I'm In You' at Frampton's studio in Cincinnati. Frampton was so inspired by Very Emergency's rendition, he decided to record with the band, supplying vocal and guitar parts to the new arrangement. According to Frampton, "It was great working with Very Emergency in my home studio and I was very impressed with their version of 'I'm in You'.' He goes on to say, 'It was wonderful to hear an entirely different interpretation of my song. I would have never thought of it that way. They are a terrific new band."

'I'm in You' was produced by legendary producer, Chris Kimsey, who is best known for his work with the Rolling Stones, Duran Duran, the Cult, Frampton, and dozens of other hit-makers. A self-proclaimed fan and producer of The Getaway, Kimsey was so entranced with the band's treatment of the classic track, he made sure it made it into Frampton's hands. 'When I heard the rough track, I was immediately taken with the depth of the arrangement and I knew that Peter would dig it,' says Kimsey. 'He fell in love with it, like I did, and the rest is history.'

'I'm in You' is included on The Getaway Special Edition, which was released through Amazon.com, ITunes, Rhapsody.com and CD Central on August 11, 2009. Originally released on June 4, 2009, The Getaway is a tour de force of pop hooks, grand storytelling, melody driven arrangements and even a bit of sting from the member's punk roots.

A concept disc about a heist bound for failure and the characters whose lives are intertwined by the luckless caper, The Getaway could easily be the soundtrack to the next summer blockbuster. 'The Getaway' is an interview with a getaway driver, while 'Robbery' tells the story of his new job. Following the storyline leads the listener to even more intriguing narratives, such as 'Last Call,' a story of love (a failed one with a prostitute), and 'To Whomever Remembers Me,' the character's definition of where he stands before he enters the afterlife. 'With The Getaway, we were able to share some of our own struggles as a band,' says the band's lead singer, Ken Fletcher. 'Graduating college in today's cold economic climate, failed relationships, and a constantly changing idea of morality and mores all plays into the themes on this record.'
Looking for your summer soundtrack? Don't miss The Getaway!
