Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ Laura Bryna Official Website) - Monday night was anything but quiet at the famous House of Blues on the Sunset Strip as music recording artist Laura Bryna rocked a packed club in her Los Angeles debut.

Bryna performed songs from her debut CD, 'Trying to be Me', as well as new material destined for a follow up CD sometime in 2010. The mix of music brought together rock, pop, and country in a soulful mixture that allowed the Los Angeles-based Bryna to showcase her powerful range. Two of the songs featured a dancing duo as choreographed by the well known Eddie Garcia (has worked with the likes of Michael Jackson, Ja Rule, Sheryl Crow, Jane's Addiction, Paula Abdul, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Brandy and more).

An especially exciting announcement confirming Bryna's deal to have her CD distributed internationally through AGR Television Records and Universal Music Group International was made at the show. As part of the arrangement, Bryna will make appearances in various countries to promote the music beginning early next year.

The concert event also featured tributes to a number of special American 'Hometown Heroes' as well, including Women of the Air National Guard and five everyday unsung heroes flown to L.A. as part of a national search contest sponsored by Bryna, Southern Beauty magazine, JOICO, It's A Glam Thing and the Andaz Hotel. Some of the celebrities attending included soap stars Kate Linder, Patrika Darbo and Sean Kanan; and TV/Film actors Ben Feldman and Jonathan Sadowski.

In addition to a standing room, appreciative crowd who came for some great new music, the event took time to honor the five winners of the 'Hometown Heroes' search conducted this spring and summer. VH1 host BD Freeman opened the show and introduced National News Anchor / TV Host Suzanne Sena who acted as MC. Mayor Abbe Land of W. Hollywood and Mayoral Rep BJ Lemothe (City of Los Angeles) both made a few remarks and tributes to the heroes, the Air Guard women and Bryna. Lemothe read a letter to Bryna from Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, honoring the performer for her dedication to the armed forces and others in need.

Bryna, who gives countless hours of her time to supporting efforts of the Air Guard and the National Guard Youth Foundation as well as Make-A-Wish Foundation, was quite emotional in trying to describe her feelings for the hometown heroes in the audience. "I am so blessed to do what I love," said Bryna. "But without the sacrifices that these men and women make for their country, I wouldn't be able to do this. They are the true heroes - they help me to live my dream."

Laura Bryna is currently working on film and television opportunities as well as a brand new music project. Log on to www.laurabryna.com for more information.
