Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ Rickie Lee Tanner Official Website) - Rickie Lee Tanner proudly announces his debut album Fast Lane, available worldwide August 10th.

Fast Lane is the highly anticipated debut solo album from singer/songwriter Rickie Lee Tanner. The title track "Fast Lane" debuted on The Carney Show on KMOX-fm St. Louis with high praise from host John Carney. "This song is as good as any song on the radio today...this guy is going to be a big star," mentions Carney. Fast Lane was produced by Universal South recording artist Rockie Lynne at his Tone studio in Nashville, Tennessee.

Rickie Lee Tanner, raised in a little town outside of Kansas City, Missouri now hangs his hat in St. Louis. He blends the All-American "boy next door" country lifestyle with the energy and spirit of classic arena rock that comes across in this recording. His early influences of Garth Brooks, George Strait and Merle Haggard are ever present in his songwriting and vocal styling. Tanner has won several singing and songwriting competitions and found critical acclaim in the Colgate Country Showdown where he was a state finalist. He's also appeared on various television shows including Smart Country and Nashville On Stage.

Tanner is currently touring throughout the Midwest promoting Fast Lane and will be on the road through 2010. The first single "Fast Lane" is about Rickie Lee Tanner's small home town of Belton, MO. The follow up, "Say What You Will" is a tribute to his son Rhett who is autistic. The album Fast Lane will be available at retailers, on-line and digital download beginning August 10th, 2009.
