Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ Country Rendez-Vous Festival) - Texan Jeff Griffith showed his "joie de vivre" during a recent performance at the 22nd Country Rendez-Vous Festival in Craponne-sur-Arzon, France. The Festival drew over 28,000 country music fans from Europe and beyond to the scenic village July 24-26, where Griffith headlined with Jo Dee Messina, Eric Church and The Flatlanders. Jeff wowed a Sunday crowd of over 9,000 with his kick-ass San Antonio-based band that included Larry Lucas (electric guitar), Eddie Miles (bass), Bill Pan (steel guitar) and Scott Williams (drums). Griffith performed music from his debut CD, IF IT AIN'T ONE THING IT'S ANOTHER, as well as five of his own newly-written songs. The crowd not only sang along, but line-danced to Jeff's current hit, 'Dip Me In Beer,' choreographed by German dance instructor, Maxwell. Griffith's brand of Texas Traditional Country earned him three encores, one of which included a powerful rendition of "Chiseled In Stone" - a special tribute to his hero, Vern Gosdin. Following his show, Griffith signed autographs for nearly an hour and was interviewed by TV, Radio and Print media. Jeff returned to the stage to lend his voice to the end-of-the-Festival jam, joining Paula Nelson, Matt Skinner, Star de Azlan, The Figs and the Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash in singing 'Will The Circle Be Unbroken.'
