New York (Top40 Charts/ MSC Cruises) - Caribbean ports, balmy breezes and the lively salsa rhythms of Carlos Oliva and Los Sobrinos del Juez (The Judge's Nephews) await guests onboard MSC Poesia for her January 23, 7-night Latin Music Cruise.

Carlos Oliva has established himself as a fixture in the history of Latin Music in the United States. He's credited as being the founder of the musical movement developed by the fusion of rock, jazz, samba, son, guaracha and other Cuban rhythms, known today as the "Miami Sound". He worked with the band "Miami Sound Machine," co-producing with Emilio Estefan, and has continued to produce and record music.

While onboard, rumba, salsa, or mambo to traditional salsa dance hits and unique arrangements of pop and disco favorites with a Latin beat. Participate in Salsa dance lessons and view live performances by a hot lineup of Latin music stars which are sure to add plenty of flavor and rhythm to this Latin music cruise festival at sea.

The "Eastern Caribbean Enchantment" itinerary for this unique Latin Music theme cruise calls at ports in San Juan, Puerto Rico; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; Tortola, British Virgin Islands, and Nassau, Bahamas. Rates include the Latin Music and festivities and begin at $549 per person, double occupancy; government fees and taxes are additional. As on all MSC Cruises' sailings, kids ages 17 and younger sail free when sharing a stateroom with two full-fare-paying adults.
