NEW YORK (Vanessa Carlton Fans Website) - Vanessa Carlton will provide the theme song for the upcoming Spy Hunter 2 video game and the track is titled "Dark Carnival". The game is scheduled to ship this fall for Nintendo GameCube, PlayStation 2, and X-Box. Carlton debuted the new song live at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles on Wednesday (May 14).

Carlton's debut album Be Not Nobody is certified platinum. The singer said that even though she's had a lot of success recently, she still views herself as just one of the many female singer-songwriters out there. I"There have always been female singer songwriters," Carlton said. "It's part of the musical landscape always. Whether or not it's selling a lot of records or not it's always there."
