New York (Top40 Charts/ M.C. Records) - M.C. Records is very please to announce that the band Shout Sister Shout (Boston Music Award winner Rachel Davis & Steppin' In It) will be on John Platt's 'Sunday Morning Breakfast.' You can hear the interview/performance Sunday June 28 @ 10am Eastern time on WFUV 90.7 FM in the NYC area. Outside the listening area go to https://www.wfuv.org/
The band will be playing songs from there new M.C. Records release,Hit That Jive.

Shout Sister Shout combines old time standards and bluesy ballads. Hit That Jive was released in April to great reviews and airplay.

* Davis' engaging tremolo brings to mind a young Maria Muldaur" Blues Revue
"(Shout) lovingly re-does these songs in a uniquely different way"
Bloomington Alternative
"Hit That Jive has got everything right and indeed, simmers along independently right from the opening track. Nothing frozen or fake here - they are the real deal." Bella Online
* The quintet is a tribute to the smoky, sophisticated sound of 1930s and '40s jazz, with plenty of influence from Cole Porter, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Nat King Cole Trio and Sarah Vaughan, and it's a trip to hear Davis channel those old greats. Of course, it doesn't hurt to have a bunch of guys playing the hell out of vintage instruments as backup.' The Metro Times- Detroit,MI
