Jersey City darling Amy Speace, along with her trusty band The Tearjerks, will hit The Living Room for two free shows in May, sharing beguiling stories from the road and previewing the stirring, guitar-driven songs of heartbreak and healing from Speace's new album 'The Killer In Me,' out June 30 from Wildflower Records.

Speace, "a real singing writer of songs" (Village Voice), wrote all twelve songs on the forthcoming album, her second on Judy Collins' label, when she sequestered herself in the Catskills. 'The Killer In Me' maintains the effortless melodic appeal of Speace's prior work, while delivering complex emotional insights that give the album startling intimacy and resonance.
