Hailing from Birmingham, Studdard rose to fame as winner of the second season of American Idol. Since then, he has released three studio albums, has won Billboards's Top R&B Single Sales Award for 'Superstar,' and received a Grammy� Award nomination in 2003 for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for that song, alongside his idol Luther Vandross.
Studdard is on tour now with the critically acclaimed musical Ain't Misbehavin' through May 17. His forthcoming album 'Love IS' is set for release May 19 on Sony/ATV's Hickory Records in partnership with 19 Entertainment.
