LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ WhiteRoom Official Website) - If Radiohead's unborn bastard children had survived, been raised on a steady diet of Massive Attack, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, and Duke Ellington, you might have managed to engineer a group like WhiteRoom. Founded in Montreal, Canada by Alex Dray and Eddy Silva, WhiteRoom brings post jazz into its own: fusing trad jazz, trip hop, electronica and indie post-rock into an absorbing new trans-genre sound. WhiteRoom released their debut LP in December 2006 to critical acclaim. In 2008, following tours and collobration in North America, the group left for Europe to tour, record - and get in touch with their Old World Roots. WhiteRoom quickly caught the attention of London based label The Animal Farm (members of the SJP Dodgy production group who have worked with Radiohead, Mos Def, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Stereophonics among many others). The boys are currently hard at work on a brand new EP, on schedule for release in April 2009, with a full length album to follow later in the year.
