Taylor Swift Sells Out LA's Staples Center In 2 Minutes

NASHVILLE, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Big Machine Records) - Taylor Swift's May 22nd concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles sold out this morning within minutes of tickets going on sale. Taylor's fans snapped up all of the available tickets in a record TWO minutes.

Taylor will be at the Staples Center this Sunday night, performing live on the 51st Annual Grammy Awards. This will mark the debut television performance of Taylor's song "Fifteen" from her Fearless CD. Miley Cyrus is joining Taylor for a special duet version. The Grammy awards will air on CBS at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

The Staples Center show was the first of Taylor's 2009 FEARLESS headlining tour to go on sale. Tickets for the following shows go on sale next Friday, February 13th at 10:00 a.m. local time:

April 23 - Evansville, IN
April 24 - Jonesboro, AR
May 1 - Jacksonville, FL
May 2 - Biloxi, MS

Kellie Pickler and Gloriana will join Taylor as featured guests on all shows on the FEARLESS 2009 tour, which will visit 50 cities in 38 states and provinces in the US and Canada this year.

Taylor's FEARLESS CD, released on Big Machine Records, has topped Billboard's Country Albums Sales charts each of the 12 weeks since its release. FEARLESS has also spent 8 weeks at No 1 on the all-genre Top 200 Albums chart. Taylor has top 10 singles in 4 different radio formats - Country, Top 40, AC and Hot AC. Her career CD sales have topped 6 million.

Taylor leaves next week for concert dates and promotional appearances in the UK and Australia.
