Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ RCA Records) - In a week where wicked weather wreaked havoc across much of the country, fans braved the elements and power outages to find Pat Green's new album, What I'm For, which debuted at Number 2 on Billboard's Country Album Chart. Additionally, he debuted at Number 2 on the Digital Album Chart and Number 1 on the Internet Album Chart for Country. The massive winter storm that brought parts of the US to a halt affected plans in Pat's home state of Texas too. The first-ever and wildly successful Drive Thru In Store in the Dallas suburb of Grand Prairie was initially set for Tuesday but an ice storm moved the event to Thursday. The drive thru found Pat standing between two rows of cars for three hours, as he signed more than 600 CDs. At its longest, the line of cars waiting to meet Pat spanned over 1.5 miles. 'I'm really proud of this record and feel it says a lot about where I am in my life right now,' Green says of the debut. 'It was great to see so many fans join us during our release week events.' The album is also has fans in the media. The Washington Post says,' This is rock-tinged country music that evokes heartland struggle while deftly tugging at the most hardened of heartstrings,' while the Philadelphia Inquirer states, 'What I'm For puts Green's crowd-pleasing talents on display again. It's full of country-rocking anthems that present a stand-up, salt-of-the-earth guy who knows how to go for the gusto.' Green also headlines the first- ever Jagermeister Country Tour which kicked off in Atlanta this past weekend. The tour will make stops in 25 major markets during the next three months.
