Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Eric Heatherly Official Website) - Eric Heatherly will perform in Nashville at the Listening Room/Cummins Station on Saturday, February 7, 2009. Lodged between his heavy tour schedule, Heatherly will make a special appearance in a rare and rockin' concert event in Music City to introduce the new sounds from his forthcoming CD entitled 2 HIGH 2 CRY.

Produced by Carson Chamberlin (who has also produced Billy Currington's current No. 1 Hit "Don't"), the album features seven solo writes and two re-collective songs ("Somebody's Baby"/Jackson Browne and "Mood Ring"/Paul Thorn) that are electrified and customized in true Heatherly style. His cut "Unforgettable" has appeared in the Emmy/Golden Globe winning nighttime drama "Grey's Anatomy."

"The new project has a progressive vibe with a bluesy hue." Heatherly stated. "It's guitar-driven; roll- the-windows-down and turn-it-up stuff. I'm hoping a multitude of genres and age groups will dig it."

From the producer's chair, Carson Chamberlain describes Heatherly's new CD as "Country Clapton." "...brilliance in songwriting, a new age feel, and raw in emotion," Chamberlain said.

Beyond the stage and musical arena, Eric Heatherly is talented in yet another art form-the tunesmith is a specialty guitar strap designer. Sported by Kid Rock and Lenny Kravitz, his creations have made their way to the stage and have also been featured on the cover of Guitar Player magazine. His latest, the Rock 'n' Roll Handcuff Guitar Strap, was named the January 2009 NAMM "Showstopper" (NAMM Convention, Anaheim, CA). "The fully functioning guitar strap with fully functioning handcuffs make this product a useful accessory during and after the performance!" -NAMM Upbeat Magazine

The Handcuff Guitar Strap follows the "must-have" Seat-Belt Guitar Strap patented by Heatherly in 2001. Accessory shoppers can find the one-of-a-kind Handcuff Guitar Strap at their favorite music store or by visiting levysleathers.com or kustomduds.com. Eric Heatherly fans and music enthusiasts can find his new music at MySpace.com/ericheatherly.
