"The Who is one of the greatest bands in the world and watching them perform on the giant screen coupled with our surround sound systems will make you feel as if you are on stage rocking with the band," said Pat Marshall, Vice-President, Communications and Investor Relations, Cineplex Entertainment. Originally shot on film in 1970 by Academy Award-winning director Murray Lerner, The Who - Live at the Isle of Wight Festival captures the band's high-energy performance in front of 600,000 festival-goers. This most dramatic moment in the history of hard rock is undoubtedly one of the band's most memorable performances ever. Along with remixed sound, this concert footage has been digitally restored in HD to its highest quality. The track listing includes I Can't Explain, Summertime Blues, My Generation and a complete live performance of The Who's classic rock opera Tommy, featuring Pinball Wizard. As a special bonus, guests will enjoy a taped interview with Pete Townshend prior to the start of the film.
