Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ SVC Records) - SVC Records (Indianapolis), announces the release of "We're All Here," from its flagship artist River County. The cut (written by Curt Ryle/Donald Rollins) is the sophomore radio single from the trio's debut country CD entitled ROCKIN' THE COUNTRY, produced by Terry Wendt.
In keeping with River County's playful character and Southern/Swamp Rock style, "We're All Here" is a fun loving, two-stepper that brings to life the amusing personalities and comical scenarios of local-yokels who partake in merriment at their favorite, and frequented, local dive. A universal theme, the musical satire is laced with fiddle and whining pedal steel, and features a cast of zany characters.
"This song depicts honky-tonk camaraderie-a home away from home, where everyone is welcome; they can let their hair down, chug a few, and sing and dance (and act a fool) among friends," said lead singer Derek Wylie. "It's a song that says 'we're all here, why aren't you? Come on down and join the fun!'"
Making their official introduction to country radio with their single "Rockin' The Country" (July, 2008), River County has been featured in Country Weekly's "Listen-Up" and was named "Indy's No. 1 Country Band," by Nuvo magazine (2007). A working band, the group has opened for Andy Griggs, Rascal Flatts, Jack Ingram and Lorrie Morgan, and has performed at a variety of special events including the Indy 500, the NASCAR Brickyard 400 and The Downtown Sky Concert Series. The group also completed a five-city tour in Mainland, China in 2008.
In support of the new single, River County will showcase their talents at this year's Country Radio Seminar (CRS-40) in Nashville and actively participate in CMA Music Festival this summer.
"We're All Here"* is scheduled to be released to radio on March 9, 2009 (FEB CDX Vol. 468); the corresponding music video will be filmed in the coming weeks.
