Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Brooks & Dunn Official Website) - Superstar duo Brooks & Dunn write a little chart history this week, as 'Cowgirls Don't Cry' - their smash single featuring longtime buddy and fellow superstar, Reba McEntire - vaults into the country airplay Top 10, marking Brooks & Dunn's 41st Top 10 single. The duo's powerhouse track record on the charts now surpasses that of legendary group Alabama as the duo or group with the most Top 10 country singles in the 19-year history of Nielsen BDS-monitored airplay.

Currently No 9 on the Billboard and Radio & Records charts, 'Cowgirls Don't Cry' has previously been commercially available only via Brooks & Dunn's original recording on their Cowboy Town album, but demand for the special radio version featuring Reba has sparked its release as a digital single, arriving February 10.

In addition to the duo's original version of 'Cowgirls Don't Cry,' their Cowboy Town album includes the hits 'Proud of the House We Built,' 'Put a Girl in It,' and 'God Must Be Busy,' for which the duo is currently nominated for a GRAMMY for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.
