Charlie Allen And Label River Run Records To Undertake European Promotional Tour To Support His First No 1 Single 'PROOF'

Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ River Run Records) - Nashville recording artist Charlie Allen will undertake a two-week promotional tour of France and England in the coming weeks to capitalize on the success of his single, 'Proof,' which hit the No 1 spot last week on Europe's Hotdisc 'Independent Top 20' chart and No 3 on their 'Top 40 Country' radio chart, respectively. 'Proof' is from Allen's critically acclaimed CD, That Was Then, This Is Now.

While in France , Allen will attend MIDEM in Cannes , and will be available for interviews on Jan. 20 and 21. He and his label head, Diane Delena of River Run Records, are also scheduled to hold a press conference on Jan. 20 from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Palais de Festivals, in Auditorium C on the 3rd Level.

MIDEM, the music industry's largest BtoB event, brings together 9,000 professionals from over 90 countries.

After MIDEM, Allen and Delena will travel to London , England , where 'Proof' enjoys steady airplay on CMR Nashville and 'Hot 'n' Gold,' two of Europe 's premier radio stations.
