Los Angeles, CA. (Top40 Charts/ 101 DISTRIBUTION) - Producer/ songwriter Jeffrey Steele has kicked off 2009 with a bang. This week Rascall Flatts went No l, giving Steele his 9th No l single as a songwriter. Later this week, Steele goes to the Golden Globe Awards and the Critics Choice Awards where 'I Thought I Lost You', the song he and Miley Cyrus wrote for the Disney animated feature BOLT, has been nominated for Best Original Song for Motion Picture at both events.

It's a propitious start to the New Year for one of Nashville 's most successful producer/songwriters, performers and one of the most popular judges ever on Nashville Star. In November, by special request of one of the nation's biggest retailers, BEST BUY, Steele released three new albums of material, HELL ON WHEELS, COUNTRYPOLITAN and GREATEST HITS VOL. II.
