Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Arista Records) - Arista Nashville hitmaker Jason Michael Carroll debuted at No 1 with his first album, Waitin' in the Country, and now the success of the disc's back-to-back Top 5 singles, 'Alyssa Lies' and 'Livin' Our Love Song,' continues as 'Livin' Our Love Song' tops the 500,000 sales mark, earning RIAA Gold Mobile Mastertone certification.

The great news comes as Carroll is already poised to enjoy an exciting 2009, with a new album arriving this spring and the disc's first single, 'Where I'm From,' already inside the country Top 40 and climbing the charts. 'Where I'm From,' currently available as a digital single, has clearly been connecting with fans with Carroll's distinctive style and the song's readily relatable storyline of realizing that people's differences aren't always as great as we might sometimes believe.

This week, Carroll will be among a host of celebrities from the worlds of music and motorsports on hand to participate in the Sprint Sound & Speed event in Nashville , and he'll soon join Trace Adkins and Craig Morgan for a series of shows in February.

Carroll's career first took off with the arrival of his chart-topping debut album and its accompanying smash singles that earned him Billboard's Top New Country Artist honor in the year of his album's release. Since that time, major media and critical acclaim have accompanied Carroll's rise, along with tour slots with such superstar artists as Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Martina McBride, and Carrie Underwood.
