(Top40 Charts/ Universal Records South) - Universal Records South/Republic recording artist, Eli Young Band, closed out the holiday season and 2008 by selling out 16 shows in just 6 weeks. With huge growth in hard ticket markets across the country, venues are seeing ticket sales double and triple with each performance.

Recent Growth in hard ticket sales includes:
Denver - from 400 to 1200 hard tickets
Kansas City - from 300 to 1000 hard tickets
San Antonio - from 1800 to 2700 hard tickets
Dallas/Ft Worth - from 2900 to 6000 hard tickets *selling out the legendary Billy Bob's Dancehall

The band has also experienced similar growth of 300% -500% in markets like Chicago , Wichita and Memphis as well as SOLD OUT shows in 11 additional markets, setting venue attendance records in a number of these locations.

The impressive acceleration of ticket sales has concert promoters singing the bands praises. 'The Eli Young Band continues to grow in the Colorado market and build their fan base.
