Jana Mashonee Performs At Inaugural Ball

New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ International Talent Organization) - Grammy Nominated Jana Mashonee, seven time winner of the Native American Music Awards, singer-songwriter, and actress to perform at the 11th American Indian Inaugural Ball "A Celebration of Many Nations - One People" on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, VA. The event is hosted by the American Indian Society (AIS) of Washington, D.C.

Jana Mashonee is a seven time Native American Music Award Winner (NAMMYS) including Best Female Artist of the Year, Best Single of the Year, two time winner for Best Pop Recording of the Year, Best Record of the Year and Best Producer for "American Indian Christmas" and Best Music Video.

Jana has performed for Laura Bush in the White House during the First Lady's Luncheon, and is also a previous Inaugural Ball performer for George W. Bush in 2000.

Jana Mashonee is the founder of the non-profit organization "Jana's Kid's" which awards Native students the only educational scholarship in the United States in all three categories: academic, artistic and athletic achievement.

Jana's Native Youth Motivational Presentation has become the most successful presentation of its kind in the country. Her unique blend of music, dance and motivational speaking is reaching young people everywhere.
