DALLAS, TX. (Top40 Charts/ Floyd Tolston Official Website) - There is no looking back for country recording artist, Floyd Tolston, as his latest single, 'Lookin' Back At Luckenbach,' continues its climb up Music Row's Country Breakout Top 100 chart. The song rose to number 87 on the Music Row chart during week 49. The week prior, 'Lookin' Back at Luckenbach' entered the Top 100 at number 96. 'Lookin' Back At Luckenbach' is the singer/songwriter's third single from his debut cd, 'Something Special,' and the first to receive extensive national airplay among major-market radio stations. 'Lookin' Back At Luckenbach' takes a fresh look at the small Texas town with a larger-than-life reputation. 'Most of my songs come in the form of a burning bush,' Tolston says. 'I'm not one of those guys who can get up in the morning and say, 'I'm going to write a song today.' Something has to inspire me, or something has to evoke the feeling.' Tolston's first two single releases, 'Austin' and 'Wal Mart Lovers' still receive extensive internet airplay. Earlier this year, 'Austin' boosted the 'Something Special' cd onto the Roots Music Report True Country chart, rising to number 44.
