New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Columbia Nashville's Montgomery Gentry just released a brand new interactive version of their video for the Top 5 hit, 'Roll With Me,' exclusively on-line at www.hearsomethingcountry.com . Filmed using the 360 degree filming process, this marks the first short-form country music video to be seen panorama style. Viewers can watch the duo's video from any angle they choose by panning across the screen, giving the video an entirely new look with each and every scroll. Filmed in San Francisco, CA, under the skillful direction of Steven L. Weaver, the 360 degree image was captured using a specifically designed panorama camera lens attachment. Essentially, this camera lens rig attachment is a 'mirrored ball' that reflects everything it sees. The 35mm motion film camera shot up into the mirror, creating a circular image. From there, the image was unwrapped and stretched out, to create a 360 panoramic image, allowing the viewer to see everything. 'I've been waiting to shoot 360 degree for years now. Finally I had the opportunity with Montgomery Gentry,' comments Weaver. 'The camera and lens rig were mounted to the front of the truck, allowing us to see where we were going and where we were coming from. Driving through the city created such a cool rolling effect which was perfect for 'Roll With Me,' ' continued Weaver. 'The greatest challenge was keeping the crew and rigging out of the shots - the 360 camera rig literally sees everything!' Montgomery Gentry's hit single 'Roll With Me' is the follow-up to the chart-topper 'Back When I Knew It All.' Both songs are from the duo's current release, Back When I Knew It All, in stores now. Montgomery Gentry is currently on the road playing select dates across the country and was recently nominated for the CMA Vocal Duo of the Year.
