Katie Armiger Brings Her Holiday Spirit To Radio Tomorrow With The Release Of Two New Christmas Songs

Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Cold River Records) - Rising country artist Katie Armiger is set to share her holiday spirit with radio tomorrow releasing two new Christmas songs that she recorded over the last several weeks in Nashville . Katie, who loves the holiday season, has never penned or recorded Christmas music before so knew immediately she wanted to record her own version of the popular Mariah Carey song 'All I Want For Christmas Is You.' She also teamed up with close friend and Nashville Star contestant Ashlee Hewitt to write and perform an original song entitled 'I Just Want To Be With You This Christmas.' Both songs will be released to radio and iTunes tomorrow.

'I have always loved listening to Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' during the holidays. It was so amazing to go into the studio and record it. I hope that fans enjoy it as much as I enjoyed recording it,' said Katie. 'When Ashlee and I team up to write and record I am always so happy with the outcome and 'I Just Want To Be With You This Christmas' is no exception because I think this is a song that everyone can relate to or at the very least just enjoy listening to.'

Katie Armiger released her critically acclaimed second album Believe this Summer on Cold River Records. Katie penned 10 of the 11 songs on the album with a talented array of Nashville songwriters. Fans get to hear a different side to Katie on Believe with a little bit of edge that has come from spending a little over a year on the road. But in true country form Katie has made sure to stay true to her roots as well as her age with down to earth, lighthearted music that has fans in awe of what is possible from this 17 year old.
