Solange continues performing to packed venues during her European tour as supporting act on the
Alicia Keys "
As I Am" world tour. This is the second tour for Ms. Knowles in support of her current album, "SoL-AngeL and The Hadley St. Dreams," this year due to the overwhelming audience support of her live performance.
Giorgio Armani is proud to design a custom made wardrobe for singer/songwriter and actress Solange, the new Armani Jeans ambassador, during her European tour. She is performing in seven European cities: Berlin, Munich, Oberhausen, Metz, Manheim, Rotterdam, and Antwerp. In addition, Ms. Knowles will also headline her own tour in the following seven cities: Paris, Glasglow, Newcastle, London, Brighton, Sheffield, and Manchester.
Solange's sophomore album, titled "SoL-AngeL and the Hadley St. Dreams," was released on August 26th, 2008, on Music World/Geffen Records and debuted top ten (No 9) on the Billboard 200 Chart and No 3 on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart. Her 1st single, "I Decided," reached the No 1 position on the Billboard Dance Chart and also was the No 1 selling single for several consecutive weeks. The single, "T.O.N.Y." which was co-written by Cee-Lo, is currently being launched in the US. The single "Sandcastle Disco" is at radio in the UK, and "I Decided" is at radio in Europe. The European album release date is November 2008.
