SHERMAN OAKS, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Interscope Records) - Travis Barker was released this morning from the Grossman Burn Center in Sherman Oaks, California. Barker had received ongoing care for 2nd and 3rd degree burns following the tragic September 19th plane crash that claimed four lives.

Barker had initially been treated at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia and was subsequently transferred to the Grossman Burn Center at Sherman Oaks Hospital on September 29th to be closer to his friends and family.

Barker will continue his recovery at home and is expected to fully heal from his injuries over the course of the next few months through treatment and rehabilitation. Barker appreciates the loyal support of his fans and the media but respectfully requests privacy through the balance of his healing process.

An investigation is being conducted to determine what caused the Learjet that Barker and the only other survivor, Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein, to crash. Chris Baker and Charles Still, both close friends of Barker's, along with two pilots perished in the accident.

The Chris Baker Memorial Fund and the Charles Still Memorial Fund have been established for the benefit of Chris and Charles' families. Donations may be sent to the respective funds at the following address:

Memorial Fund
