James will be embarking on his first ever national headlining bill with MTV's support. The MTV SoundTRACKER Tour will chronicle Brendan
James tour across the country through the fourth quarter of 2008 in support of the Billboard Heatseeker Top 10 Album, 'The Day is Brave' (Decca Records/Velour).
MTV created this viral video series to give fans an exclusive view and interactive experience with the very best talent in popular music. Fans will be able to interact online with Brendan James as he clocks more than 30,000 miles across this country since releasing his record this summer. "There are few artists that can do what Brendan does live. He is a career musician that we are happy to support," said Brian Graden, President of Entertainment, MTV Networks Music Group.

Brendan James continues to build his fan base with the same old school aesthetic that successful musical forbearers have done before him - one room at a time. This headlining tour will be highlighted by a 60 minute full band national broadcast on XM's The Loft as well as supported by a national broadcast on the TV Guide Channel, regional morning show performances and radio station visits across the country.
The summer of 2008 was successful for Brendan. In addition to charting on Billboard's Top 10 Heatseeker Chart, aggressive touring, television appearances in New York, Chicago, Dallas and Philadelphia amongst others, Newsweek tipped him as a 'Must Hear' ("stunning"), Entertainment Weekly chose him as a songwriter on the rise and Page Six Magazine dubbed him their "It" guy. Perez Hilton exclaims: "We love Brendan James!"
