New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Breakout power pop group The Bridges, who recently released their debut 'Limits of the Sky' (Verve Forecast), have been confirmed as one of five up-and-coming bands to be featured in MTVU's Fall 2008 "Freshman 5." The "Freshman 5" are 5 bands whose music videos are voted most popular by viewers on the MTVU website. The Bridges' winning video for the song "Pieces" has received over a quarter of a million hits on YouTube and was No 1 on MTVU's Top 100 Video Stream chart in August.
