Brad Paisley will release his new album, Play, on Election Day, November 4, and fans can count down the days to the release as they share in the unprecedented "50 States in 50 Days" initiative launched by ABC News and USA TODAY.
Reporting from every state in the nation in the days leading up to the election, the media event kicks off with a weeklong rail journey, as ABC's Good Morning
America airs live from four states and Washington, D.C., on "Whistle Stop '08," traveling and broadcasting from a specially equipped AMTRAK train. Paisley will appear on the show on the third day of the journey, performing near the train stop in Gustavus, Ohio, on the morning of Wednesday,
September 17.
About the 50-day media initiative and the Good Morning America kick-off, Paisley remarked, "I think they're doing a really admirable thing by going out, leaving their New York studio, and covering the heart of America . It's great. It's a unique way to bring everything into focus in terms of our country and our people."
In addition to a performance of Paisley's current No 1 single, "Waitin' on a Woman," fans can look forward to additional music during his Good Morning America appearance, including previews of songs from the upcoming Play album.
