NASHVILLE, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Stringtown Records) - Country music hit-maker John Michael Montgomery marks the release of his tenth studio album, Time Flies, with a very special celebration at the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame in Renfro Valley, KY, on October 4.
Although the album doesn't hit stores until October 14, this event gives fans an opportunity to purchase the new CD, meet John Michael and share in a very special experience: the unveiling of the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame John Michael Montgomery exhibit.

The CD Release Party begins at 3:30 pm and although the meet & greet is free and open to the public, a special $5.00 Hall of Fame admission price will be offered that day for fans wanting to view the extensive John Michael Montgomery collection which includes photos, videos, clothing, plaques and other unique items as well as tributes to Kentucky's other great individuals. By purchasing a ticket to tour the Hall, fans will receive a commemorative John Michael Montgomery photo (while supplies last) and be entered into a drawing to receive one of five Wrangler gift certificates and one pair of Dan Post boots; John Michael endorses both brands.

The Kentucky native has long supported the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame. He hosts its annual Golf Scramble each April which benefits its educational outreach program and he inducted Dwight Yoakam into the Hall last year. In hopes of raising more money for the non-profit organization, John Michael is providing the Hall with an autographed Takamine guitar and one of his signature hats for auction during the October 4 event.

Born in Danville, Kentucky, John Michael Montgomery's contribution to the country music format includes hits such as "I Swear," "Be My Baby Tonight," "I Can Love You Like That," "Sold (the Grundy County Auction Incident)" and "Life's A Dance," among many others. He's earned 15 number one singles, sold over 16 million albums, enjoyed cross-over success in the pop and R&B market, and received numerous industry and fan-voted awards, including CMA Awards, ACM Awards and American Music Awards. In 2007, John Michael started his own record label, Stringtown Records, named after a small community in Mercer County, KY, near his home.

John Michael will release Time Flies on October 14, an album he produced with Byron Gallimore. His current single, "Forever," is climbing the radio charts with an official add date of September 22. Release week will be accompanied by radio visits, in-store events, media interviews, contest promotions and more. The album can be heard in its entirety at https://www.digitalrodeo.com/johnmichaelmontgomery . For those unable to attend the Oct. 4 event in Kentucky, John Michael's website is offering fans the ability to pre-order an autographed copy of Time Flies, for delivery on Oct. 14. Simply log on to https://www.johnmichaelmontgomery.com and enter the "Store."

The Kentucky Music Hall of Fame & Museum is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit that honors Kentucky performers, songwriters, publishers, promoters, managers, broadcasters comedians and other music professionals who have made significant contributions to the music industry in Kentucky and around the world.
