 Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Big Machine Records) - Taylor Swift will take the stage tonight at London's King's College for her first-ever European performance. Taylor, who has developed a large global following on-line, will play a 75- minute show to a capacity crowd - early fan response had the show sold-out well in advance. Taylor is in London to play for the first time for her UK fans and also to meet the Universal Music Group staff that will release her new album, Fearless, worldwide in 2009. Taylor will leave the U.K. and fly directly to Los Angeles for MTV's Video Music Awards. The VMAs air live on MTV at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 7th. Taylor is nominated for this year's Best New Artist award. From Los Angeles, Taylor will travel to New York for a September 10th appearance on Good Morning America, where she will join Rascal Flatts to announce the final nominees for the 2008 CMA Awards. Fans can also see Taylor on TV next Monday as she co-hosts and performs on the ABC TV special CMA Music Festival: Country's Night To Rock, airing on September 8th at 9:00 p.m. ET. Taylor will be featured in this week's issues of Us Weekly and People magazines. She rejoins Rascal Flatts' Bob That Head tour on September 11th in Virginia Beach, VA.
