"After the success of "Liquor To Like Her", I tend to have funny songs on my cd," says Pete Schlegel. "With my background as a former state trooper, I thought it fitting to cut a funny song about my wife running off with a state trooper!"

Pete Schlegel is the story of a Mid-west farm boy's dream come true. Three nationally charted singles, "Short For Gone", "Leavin' Ain't As Easy As It Sounds" and "It Takes A Whole Lot Of Liquor To Like Her," were released from his debut cd, Strong Stuff.
